Laser Clearance MeasurementPrecise and timely clearance measurement can make a major difference in your drive to maximize capacity. CANAC's state-of-the-art hi-rail laser clearance measurement system lets you answer questions about routing dimensional loads and double stack trains with unprecedented accuracy. The laser unit, fixed at track center position, reads a continuous 360° profile. Operating within exacting tolerances, it can detect protrusions as small as the head of a bolt and identify precise locations. The result is one of the most accurate and consistent composite clearance profiles available. Concrete Tie Replacement Program (P-811)The multi-tasking P-811 track renewal machine removes existing rail ties and replaces them in a single continuous pass. One of only two machines in North America, CANAC's P-811 covers more ground, more quickly and thereby reducing line shutdown times, service disruptions and labor costs.
